Guides de plongée : le propriétaire de la base était très particulier.
Malgré mon PFO, ils n'ont pas fait attention à ce que je sorte rapidement de l'eau sans équipement. Nous avons dû attendre plusieurs fois 15 minutes à la surface pour que le bateau nous charge.
Nous avons reçu une réponse à nos critiques : c'est comme ça. Lorsque nous avons demandé si nous ne pouvions pas obtenir 10 minutes de temps de plongée supplémentaire, on n'a pas répondu !
L'équipage a remonté mon équipement à contrecœur (à cause d'un FOP, je ne peux pas faire d'effort après la plongée), le gilet a été remonté par le tuyau de l'inflateur au lieu de l'arceau du gilet ! C'est mon propre équipement, pas un équipement de location !
Déclaration du chef de base : ce n'est pas possible, son équipage est très expérimenté !

Le bateau un peu plus petit (pas le Tornado) était correct. Cependant, les bancs étaient plus étroits, ce qui rendait l'enfilage du gilet pénible lorsque le bateau était plein.
L'escalier est beaucoup trop court, il manque au moins deux marches. De plus, il manquait la corde sur le côté de l'escalier pour s'accrocher pendant que l'on monte sur le bateau l'un après l'autre.
Cette base, définitivement plus jamais.

Dear guests, thank you for your feedback. We would like to give a statement to explain the situation from our point of view:
We were aware that one of the divers has a PFO, but by checking at the orientation dive they told us that they are experienced divers and can take care of everything themselves like taking a longer safety stop with their buddys in a group of four. We were confident they were experienced enough to know what they are doing. Unless they used a big amount of weights and as well a 15l tank which made the whole equipment very heavy. The weight of the equipment meant that the Dhoni Crew had problems to get it out of the water back on to the boat after the dive. Unfortunately at this process one of the crew member did accidently touched the hose of their equipment. The Operations Manager talked with the crew to remind them to be more carefully.
Regarding the boat situation, it is true that we now have a smaller boat with a smaller ladder & bench, but since Covid-19 we also have less guests so it is suitable for our current needs. The boat is actually provided by the Hotel and we don’t have much say in what boat we get to use, so it is better we can use this small boat than not offer boat trips at all for the guests! Any complaint about the boat can only be directed at the hotel.
We are sorry that the guests had to stay a bit longer on the surface on one day. But with a group of 10 divers which all have to get back to the boat again, there is automatically a waiting time. As well there were always in sight of the Dhoni captain. Another organization wouldn’t be possible as we would be late to return to the resort.
The other buddy pair (their friends) continued to dive with us and were very happy with the service of the dive center and the dives.
We are sorry that it didn`t worked out for the guests, we would have liked to have handled the situation differently.
